Chocolate Protein Powder Oatmeal Recipe
One breakfast I’ve been loving is Double Chocolate Protein Powder Oatmeal. With this Chocolate Protein Oatmeal, I get what I need: protein to keep energy up and chocolate. Because who doesn’t want chocolate in the morning? I look forward to waking up now!
The best part? It’s incredibly easy to make. In just a few minutes, breakfast is ready! If you love quick, protein-packed options, try my Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie made with chocolate protein powder for a afternoon pick me up, or bake a batch of Peanut Butter Protein Cookies to have on hand for an easy grab-and-go snack.
Ingredients
For my Chocolate Protein Powder Oatmeal you need one scoop of protein powder (I like both Vega and Quest ) and a few basic ingredients that I know you have in your pantry. Unlike other chocolate oatmeal recipes you don’t need cocoa powder because the protein powder adds enough chocolate taste.
I prefer using unsweetened vanilla almond milk because I love the taste, but you can use dairy, or even oat milk.

How to Make Chocolate Protein Oatmeal
This protein oatmeal is extremely easy to make, there’s really only 3 steps.
MIX. Combine milk (dairy or plant based), protein powder, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a saucepan over medium high heat, whisking for about 3 minutes.

BOIL. Add in the rolled oats and continue to cook for about 3-4 more minutes or until they reach a light boil.

SERVE. Pour oatmeal in a bowl and then add in a handful of chocolate chips. Serve and enjoy!
