Homemade strawberry milk recipe that only requires 4 ingredients. This is a copycat Nesquik strawberry milk recipe but so much more healthy and natural, made with fresh ingredients and milk of your choice. Make this simple syrup and make yourself and your family a glass – enjoy the nostalgia!

Healthy Homemade Nesquik Milk
As a kid I loved Nesquik strawberry milk. Do you guys remember when Nesquik syrup used to come in bunny shaped bottles? I used to love those bottles so much that I would call it “bunny milk”!

Lately I’ve had a craving for Nesquik but I wanted to make my own Strawberry Milk recipe with fresh strawberries and simple ingredients that I felt good about. This has become one of my family’s favorite Summer drinks when we’re picking strawberries from the garden.
This makes 6 ounces of strawberry syrup, good for about 4 servings. The syrup can be stored in your refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. Feel free to double or triple the recipe if you want to make even more!
My daughters love it for breakfast or for a snack, but it’s even good for a dessert! I hope you make it soon and enjoy those nostalgic Nesquik memories!

Strawberry Milk Ingredients
The ingredients for this Strawberry Milk recipe are super simple. You probably already have everything on-hand you’ll need for this drink.
- fresh strawberries (btw here’s my guide on how to store strawberries )
- sugar (or honey)
- water
- milk (dairy or plant based – your choice)

How to Make
Gather all of your ingredients and let’s get started with our delicious recipe!
The first step of this recipe is to boil the strawberries, sugar and water in a saucepan, simmering it for about 10 minutes.
Now transfer it to a blender and blend until smooth. Alternatively you could use a immersion blender (I love this tool, especially for soups !). Either way, the boiled mixture will be hot, so please be careful.
After blending the strawberry sugar mixture, you’ll end up with a syrup. To serve add about 3-4 tablespoons of the strawberry syrup into a cup of milk and stir to fully combine.

Sit back and enjoy your healthier homemade strawberry milk!
How to Store Strawberry Milk Syrup
This recipe yields about 6 ounces of strawberry syrup, which will make 4 servings. Store syrup in a covered container or mason jar in the refrigerator. This will keep for 1-2 weeks.

What kind of milk can I use?
You can use dairy milk or plant based milk for this recipe depending on your diet. You can easily make this recipe vegan-friendly by replacing the regular milk with any favorite non-dairy milk, like almond, oat, cashew coconut milk. My favorite to use is unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
